Musical education
Alexey Isaev began his professional education at the Surgut branch of the Glinka Choir Chapel. Then he studied at the piano department of the music college. Then he entered and graduated from the College of Arts for Gifted Children of the North in Khanty-Mansiysk. Among Alexey Isaev's first teachers were outstanding masters, professors Begletsov, Uspensky, Alekhin, Denisova, who played a decisive role in the artist's destiny. In college with Alexei began to work with the teacher M. Paschalsky. The same teacher continued to study with Alexei Isaev when he entered the Khanty-Mansiysk branch of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music. Alexei Isaev took lessons in Italian stylistics from such masters as D. Vdovin, M. Bullo, and M. Pais.

Creative biography
In 2009 the singer began his professional activity in the Philharmonic Society of Khanty-Mansiysk and on the stage of DK "October". In 2011, while still a student at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, he received an invitation and was accepted into the company of the Helikon Opera Moscow Musical Theater under the direction of Dmitry Bertman. Alexei Isaev's premiere roles were Onegin and Tomsky in productions of Tchaikovsky's operas Eugene Onegin and The Queen of Spades. They were followed by roles in the Italian repertoire: Fiorello in "The Barber of Seville" by J. Rossini, Renato in "Bala Masquerade" by J. Verdi, Count Di Luna in "Troubadour" by J. Verdi, Silvio in the opera "Pagliacci" by R. Leoncavallo, Dancairo and Escamillo in the opera "Carmen" by J. Bizet, Count Almavio in the opera "Pagliacci" by R. Leoncavallo. Mussorgsky, staged in the edition of D.D. Shostakovich, Potemkin in the opera "Tsarina" by D. Tukhmanov. As a member of the troupe he participated in the stock recordings for the TV channel "Rossiya-Kultura" of performances of Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" (Onegin), Rimsky-Korsakov's "Sadko" (Vedenetsky guest), Tchaikovsky's "Mazepa" (Mazepa), Puccini's "Tosca" (Baron Scarpia), Verdi's "La Traviata" (Georges Germont).

In 2012, the artist entered military service. During these years, while continuing to work at the Helikon Opera House, he became a soloist with the Central Military Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense under the baton of S. Durygin, mastering a vast new repertoire and touring the entire country - from the western borders to the Far East. In 2013. Alexey became a finalist in the second season of the Big Opera TV project on the Rossiya-Kultura TV channel. In 2014 and 2015, the artist takes part in a number of festivals held on Red Square, such as: "Days of Slavonic Script", "Spasskaya Tower" and "Baptism of Russia". Together with the Military Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense the singer gives concerts in all corners of our vast homeland. The chief conductor of the orchestra is S. Durygin. General V. Khalilov was also at the conductor's desk. As part of the Days of Slavonic Script Festival, Alexei performed a composition by V. Khalilov written especially for the singer. At the "Spasskaya Tower" festival he performed with composer A. Pakhmutova.

In 2015. Alexei Isaev prepared the title role in a unique production project - a concert performance of Rubinstein's opera Demon with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Asmik Gigoryan. Dmitry Bertman became the artistic director and director of this project, the project involved the Svetlanov State Orchestra under the baton of maestro Mikhail Tatarnikov, the chorus and orchestra of the Helikon-Opera Theater. The project became a real event for musical Moscow, causing a storm of enthusiastic emotions. As a member of the Helikon Opera company, the singer has taken part in opera festivals in various countries around the world. In Estonia, in Tallinn at the Birgita Festival, Renato sang with the theater orchestra under the baton of the remarkable conductor Eri Klas in a production of Verdi's "The Masquerade Ball". The same role, as well as the role of Escamillo in "Carmen" by J. Bizet was presented to the public at the international festival in Bangkok (Thailand), the singer participated in the opera festival in Riga, Latvia (gala concert, directed by A. Zagars). A special place in the life of the theater is occupied by the festival of P.I. Tchaikovsky in Klin Museum-Reserve of the composer. Alexei Isaev appeared on the festival stage as a partner of the outstanding singer of our time K. Stoyanova. The musical director and conductor of the concert was A. Sladkovsky. At the same festival he took part in productions of Tchaikovsky's operas Eugene Onegin and Mazepa, in which he performed the title roles. He has performed many times on the stage of the Moscow Philharmonic (the role of Renato from the opera "The Masquerade Ball", the role of Georges Germont from the opera "La Traviata", the role of Nabucco from Verdi's opera of the same name), participated in the New Year's concert there together with Yuri Bashmet, performed the role of Onegin from Tchaikovsky's opera of the same name at the festival "Opera at the Monastery Walls" in Sergiev Posad together with the maestro.

Alexei Isaev has participated in international and all-Russian opera and music festivals. He sang with the orchestra conducted by Maestro F. Mastrangelo at the Montecatini Terme Festival. On several occasions the singer has performed at the Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow, where he sang the part of Aleko from S.V. Rachmaninoff's opera of the same name and the part of Gryazny from N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov's opera The Tsar's Bride (with maestro V.I. Fedoseyev conducting).

In September 2018, Alexei Isaev received a special prize "For a brilliant start in art" from the Elena Obraztsova Foundation. Remarkably, the award was presented at the opening of the Jose Carreras Grand Prix in the presence of the Maestro himself.
In the same year a stock recording was made of Tchaikovsky's opera "Mazepa", where Alexey plays the character of the same name. This production was shown on the "Kultura" TV channel.

In February 2019, the singer made his debut at the Mariinsky Theater, where he performed the role of Count di Luna in G. Verdi's opera Troubadour.
At the same time, Alexei made his debut at the An der Wien Theater in Vienna, where he performed the role of Mazepa in the opera of the same name and the role of Robert in the opera Iolanta. In April 2019, the singer took part in the premiere of the opera Iolanta at his native Helikon Opera Theater, where he performed the role of Robert (directed by S. Novikov). In June of the same year Alexei performed the role of Escamillo from the opera Carmen together with the Elena Obraztsova Foundation, the orchestra of the New Opera Theater (conductor Jan Latham-Koenig, director R. Protasov, the performance took place in the concert hall "Zaryadye"). In July 2019, an opera festival was held on the island of Saaremaa in Estonia, where the singer performed the role of Yeletsky from the opera The Queen of Spades (conductor V. Fedoseev, stage director D. Bertman). Alexei Isaev also performed the role of Nabucco from G. Verdi's opera of the same name (conducted by V. Kiryanov and staged by D. Bertman). The world premiere of the performance "Mr. Georg Ots" took place there, where the singer performed the part of a KGB agent. The premiere was attended by Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid and Estonian Prime Minister Jüri Ratas.
In August of the same year, the singer takes part in the festival of the outstanding tenor of our time Peter Dvorsky, where he performs works by Tchaikovsky.
In September 2019, the singer performed the role of Gryazny from the opera The Tsar's Bride together with maestro V. Fedoseyev and the Tchaikovsky BSO Orchestra at the Zaryadye Hall.
