Mono-opera "Anna" L. Klinicheva

About the life of Anna Akhmatova.... To the anniversary (135 years) of the outstanding Russian poetess.

"Anna" was first performed in 2009 in Vladikavkaz, and in May 2016 it was staged at the Mariinsky Theatre and performed by Natalia Pavlova. The opera is dedicated to the life story of Anna Akhmatova. It is part of a tetralogy dedicated to the great Russian poets Anna Akhmatova, Marina Tsvetaeva, Zinaida Gippius and Bella Akhmadulina. The libretto is based on autobiographical materials and the audience is faced with the amazing story of the life of a woman who embodied the diversity of women's destinies.

Soloist Natalia Pavlova is not only a great singer, but also an amazing actress, she is multifaceted and deep - these qualities help to embody the image of Anna Akhmatova piercingly and sensually, to convey its tragic nature.
