The concert program includes the famous waltzes: "On the Beautiful Blue Danube", "Spring Voices", "Imperial Waltz" and the waltz "Tales of the Vienna Woods", which, according to the frames of the Hollywood film about Strauss's life "The Great Waltz", was born to the creak of a carriage, the clatter of horses' hooves and the chirping of birds during the composer's trip through the forest. The forest theme will be picked up by the polka "On the Hunt", and the polkas "Thunder and Lightning", "Trick Truck" and "Pizzicato Polka" will impress with unexpected sound effects. This musical cocktail will be complemented by fragments from two of the composer's most popular operettas: the sparkling and incendiary "The Bat" and the colorful "The Gypsy Baron" full of Hungarian-Gypsy intonations.
