Darya Terekhova and Vladimir Dmitruk in the operetta "Winter Evening in Chamonix"

In the hundred-year history of the Musical Theater there was not a decade when operetta did not sound under its arches. It is in the genes of the Musical Theater. Even before the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko studios moved into 17 Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street, the famous Moscow Operetta Theater headed by the brilliant Grigory Yaron worked here. And historically, the first performance of the Musical Theater was Lecoq's "Ango's Daughter" directed by Nemirovich-Danchenko.

Conductor William Lacey, director Alexander Titel and artist Vladimir Arefiev decided to compose a performance whose musical score is a kind of pasticcio of works by the most famous operetta authors from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century. This means that the music of Offenbach and Lecoq, Kalman and Lehar, Strauss the son and Zuppe, Miller, Friml, Dostal, Strelnikov, Abraham - all those who are called classics of the genre - will be performed.

Among the artists will be our favorites Darya Terekhova and Vladimir Dmitruk
