Artists of the art agency in the Chaliapin Opera Festival

Premier Art Agency recommends attending performances of the 37th International Opera Festival named after F.I. Chaliapin on the stage of the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil from February 1 to 23. F.I. The festival will open with the premiere of N. Rimsky-Korsakov's opera The Tsar's Bride. The new production directed by Mikhail Panjavidze is in the classical vein and has a technologically advanced scenographic solution. Bright stylized costumes have been created for the performance. The main roles are performed by soloists from leading theaters in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Germany. The conductor-director is Arif Dadashev (Moscow). The part of Vasily Stepanovich Sobakin will be performed by Mikhail Kazakov, an artist of the Art Agency.

The block of operas of Russian classics will be continued by performances of "Eugene Onegin" and "Queen of Spades". On February 13, the birthday of F.I. Chaliapin, M. Mussorgsky's opera "Boris Godunov" will be performed, where Mikhail Kazakov will also act as the protagonist.

The program will include Italian operas Madama Butterfly, Turandot, Aida, Nabucco and La Traviata. The performances are conducted by Renat Salavatov (Kazan), Marco Boemi and Stefano Romani (Italy), Vasily Valitov and Arif Dadashev (Moscow). Khachatur Badalyan and Mikhail Kazakov take part in the productions. The festival will end with two gala concerts, where the art agency will be represented by three names at once - Khachatur Balyan, Mikhail Kaz akov and Alexei Tatarintsev.

The F.I. Chaliapin International Opera Festival is the oldest Russian forum of opera art. The festival was founded in 1982, and in a short period of time has acquired the status of all-Russian and international.

Thanks to the festival a monument to F.I.Chaliapin was opened in Kazan in 1999.
