Ekaterina Semenchuk on the stage of the new Zaryadye concert hall

On October 14, 2018, as part of an anniversary program dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Elena Obraztsova's birth, the Elena Obraztsova Foundation will present scenes from C. Saint-Saëns' opera Samson et Dalila on the stage of Moscow's Zaryadye Concert Hall. The role of Dalila will be performed by Yekaterina Semenchuk, an artist of the Premier Art Agency, one of the most sought-after mezzo-soprano singers on the world opera stage and a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre. The singer's partners will be the remarkable Romanian tenor, soloist of the Bucharest Opera Marius Vlad (Samson), who recently performed the role of Samson at the Tchaikovsky International Arts Festival in Klin, Mariinsky Theatre soloist and winner of international competitions including the Elena Obraztsova International Competition for Young Opera Singers Roman Burdenko (High Priest of Dagon) and leading soloist of the Helikon Opera Moscow Musical Theatre Dmitry Skorikov (Abemelech). The concert performance will be accompanied by the chorus and orchestra of the E. V. Kolobov Moscow New Opera Theater under the baton of the orchestra's chief conductor Jan Latam-König.
