From January 28 to February 6, the artist of the art agency Elena Maximova will perform in the opera "Cinderella" by Gioacchino Rossini. Elena will perform the part of the main character Angelina (Cinderella).

This two-act opera, based mainly on the famous story of Cinderella (based on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault), successfully harmonizes irony, humor, melancholy and fairy-tale mood. Thanks to this, the production will be interesting for both adults and young audiences.

For many, Cinderella, written in a very short period of time, is the most poetic of all of Rossini's comic operas. Sven-Erik Bechtolf, director of the current production, has transported the action to Italy in the 1950s, and more specifically to San Sogno, a fictional dwarf state in the Mediterranean Sea ruled by the young prince Don Ramiro.
