On December 16 on the stage of the Volkhonka Mansion a gala concert "My friends, our union is beautiful!" dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Elena Obraztsova Foundation for Charitable Support of Musical Art, established in December 2011 on the initiative of the great opera singer, People's Artist of the USSR Elena Obraztsova. Among the guests of the evening: prominent public figures, cultural figures, business representatives, friends and partners of the Foundation.The concert included performances by participants of the Foundation's creative projects, laureates of the Foundation's Special Prizes, laureates of the Elena Obraztsova International Vocal Competitions: People's Artists of the USSR Vera Vasilieva, Alexander Vedernikov, Zurab Sotkilava, world-renowned singer Dmitry Korchak, soloists of the Mariinsky Theater Oksana Shilova and Maria Bayankina, soloists of the Moscow Helikon Opera Theater Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Elena Semenova, Alexandra Kovalevich, Igor Morozov, ballet dancer of the Bolshoi Theater Maria Mishina, soloist of the Moscow Theater "New Opera" named after. Yuri Rostotsky, soloist of the N.P. Osipov National Academic Folk Instruments Orchestra.
