The theater was preparing them for the end of the previous season, which ended abruptly due to a pandemic sweeping the world.

The opera company will dedicate its first performance to the anniversary of the great composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - on May 7, 2020 the world celebrated the 180th anniversary of his birth. In the gala concert "Tchaikovsky. Passion for Opera" on September 4 will feature arias, scenes, orchestral and choral fragments from all of the composer's operas, and the performance of some numbers from "Iolanta" will be a preparation for one of the premieres of the new season - the artistic director of the Voronezh Chamber Theater and Platonov Festival Mikhail Bychkov is preparing his version of Tchaikovsky's last opera.

The concert is attended by leading soloists and soloists of the opera company of the theater: Natalia Muradymova, Daria Terekhova, Vladimir Dmytruk and others.
