On April 3, on the eve of the feast of Holy Easter, the monumental oratorio "The St. Matthew Passion" by Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev) will be performed at the Crocus City Hall. The oratorio will be performed by 350 people: an orchestra, five choruses and opera stars under the baton of conductor Valery Polyansky.The soloists of the oratorio: an honorary graduate of the Houston Grand Opera Studio, winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition and the Tchaikovsky Theater Prize. Albina Shagimuratova (soprano), soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre Alexandra Kadurina (mezzo-soprano), winner of the television show "The Voice" Hieromonk Photii (tenor) and artist of the art agency "Premier". Nikolai Didenko (Part of the proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Life Line charity fund for the needs of seriously ill children.
