From February 7 to 22, 2019, the Opera House in Tel Aviv will present Giuseppe Verdi's opera "The Masquerade Ball". The role of Ulrika will be performed by Agunda Kulaeva and Yulia Mennibaeva of the Premier Art Agency.

The Israeli Opera has once again invited one of today's leading opera directors, Michal Znaniecki, who staged "The Masquerade Ball" in Tel Aviv in 2014 and Verdi's "Ernani" even earlier, for this production. The production is conducted by Daniel Oren, one of the foremost connoisseurs of Verdi's work. The audience can expect forbidden love, palace intrigue, a conspiracy leading to murder, operatic passions in the world of big politics and, of course, brilliant music!

On performance days, there will be 30-minute introductory lectures on the opera "The Masquerade Ball" one hour prior to the performances, at no additional charge for those who purchased tickets to the performance the same evening. Backstage tours will take place on February 11, 12, 14 and 20.
