ART: ENERGY REIMAGINED - ABU-DHABI, September 11, 2019

On September 11, 2019, as part of the 24th World Energy Congress (WEC24) in Abu Dhabi (UAE), ahead of the WEC25 Key Handover Ceremony, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation hosted the Congress guests at the Russia Gala Dinner. In addition to a multicultural dinner and speeches by officials, the guests were presented a multimedia performance with the participation of opera and ballet dancers from prominent Russian theaters - ART: ENERGY REIMAGINED. The main concept of the performance is to look through the prism of classical and contemporary performing art at the sources of energy: the sun, earth, wind, water, atom. Works by Russian composers of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as modern improvisations became the musical basis of the performance. The combination of opera, ballet and multimedia interactive content complemented by 5.1 surround sound was one of the most memorable for the guests of the evening in the cultural program of the entire Congress.
