"We can't forget these roads."

On September 21, the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory hosted a gala concert "We cannot forget these roads" dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of composer A.G. Novikov.

Anatoly Grigorievich Novikov - Soviet composer, choral conductor, teacher, public figure, People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of Socialist Labor, winner of two Stalin Prizes of the second degree, one of the greatest masters of Soviet mass song. His work is firmly connected with the traditions of Russian folklore - peasant, soldier, urban. The composer's best songs, heartfelt lyrical, marching heroic and joking, have long been included in the golden fund of Soviet music.

The concert featured some of Anatoly Novikov's most famous songs performed by outstanding opera singers: Agunda Kulaeva, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, Honored Artist of Russia, Lyubov Petrova, soloist of the Metropolitan Opera, Eugenia Sotnikova, soloist of the Berlin State Opera, Elena Guseva and Daria Terekhova, soloists of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theater. K.S. Stanislavsky and V.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, Elena Guseva and Daria Terekhova, guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, Honored Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Alexei Tatarintsev, soloist of the Moscow Musical Theatre "Helikon Opera" Alexei Isaev, graduate of the Youth Opera Program of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Dmitry Cheblykov. The evening was also attended by Alisa Ignatieva, finalist of the "Voice" program, the groups Quartet Pro and Partizan FM. The concert was accompanied by the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army named after A.V. Alexandrov and the Ryazan State Academic Russian Folk Choir named after E.G. Popov. The conductor was Gennady Sachenyuk, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and People's Artist of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.

The hosts of the evening were theater and film actress, singer Valeria Lanskaya and Yevgeny Kungurov, Honored Artist of the Chechen Republic and Honored Artist of the Republic of Ingushetia.

An exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of Anatoly Grigorievich Novikov was presented in the lobby of the first floor of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.

The concert was organized by the National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia, the Elena Obraztsova Charitable Foundation and the Premier Art Agency.

The project was implemented with the use of a grant provided by the Russian Culture Foundation NGO within the framework of the federal project "Creative People" of the national project "Culture".
