LeGato is a project that attracts bright people, unites talented teams and inspires them! That's why we managed to create not just an advertisement, but a real movie. The magic of the appearance of wine is very similar to the magic of the appearance of a perfect visual series.

We want to tell you a little bit about it, especially because there is a great occasion: the LeGato video was included in the program of the prestigious Red Apple advertising and marketing award. Together with the team of creators, we reveal a few secrets about it.

The name LeGato refers, first of all, to the music and the performance technique of the same name (coherent and smooth manner of playing, transition from note to note without pause). The video features four musical instruments - piano, clarinet, violin, flute - the musical "pair" of each of our wines.

Each of the tools found its own similarity with the product, with form, structure, movement:

  • So the piano, with its graceful curves and the power hidden under the lid, echoed the shape of a bottle of Cabernet Franc red wine, and the bottles displayed in a row reminded us of the keys, touching which you can hear the melody. And another important kinesthetic message: touching the keys and the bottle of wine is equally pleasurable....
  • The clarinet, having revealed the mystery of its structure, where the cork is an indispensable part, is similar in this respect to a bottle of wine, which is sealed with a cork. And the external similarity of the clarinet mouthpiece with a bird's beak and the black color of the instrument reminds of the origin of the name of the wine Merlot (translated from French - blackbird). Since the clarinet is a wind instrument, you have to put it to your lips to hear the music, and the same with wine, you have to taste it to hear its melody.
  • Sauvignon blanc wine, poured into glasses, gives birth to its melody and shape, which repeat the subtle curves of the violin deck and the characteristic notches on the sides, giving the violin the opportunity to sound so smoothly. The number of glasses - 4, according to the number of violin strings, is not accidental, and indicates that this wine is perfect for the company of friends, where communication over a glass of Sauvignon blanc will become music, and the conversation will be smooth and pleasant.
  • To hear the wine notes you have to twist the glass and it is in the glass that this whirlwind of notes is revealed, just like in the flute, born by the human breath, passing through all the valves, the melody of musical notes is twisted in the mouthpiece at the exit. Just look inside and you will hear the melody of Chardonnay.
  • The final part - the solo of each, arranged in its own, special order, is a complete musical thought.

The basis for the musical sequence of the movie is classical music - "Fantasia in D Minor" by W.A. Mozart.

As with wine - you can describe the meanings and "notes" of a video sequence endlessly. But it is much better to try it. Enjoy watching it!
